Design Considerations

Bespoke Dimensions
Every bar stool, dining table and bench was manufactured to suit the exact dimensions of the hospitality space, ensuring a perfect fit throughout the venue.

Architect-Specified Finish
All steelwork was powder coated to the architect’s specified RAL colour, guaranteeing consistency with the wider interior design scheme.

Consistent Oak Throughout
All oak was sourced from a single windfall tree, milled and dried in our West Wales workshop. Using timber from the same tree ensured consistent colour and grain across every table and bench.

Smarter Bench Design
Rather than using one long bench, each seating position uses two individual benches that tuck neatly beneath the table. This keeps walkways clear and allows guests to move seating without disturbing others sharing the table.

Bespoke Heights
Every stool, table and bench was manufactured to bespoke dimensions, ensuring correct seating ergonomics, comfortable dining and a consistent visual appearance throughout the Hawley Wharf development.

Architect Collaboration
Every piece of furniture was manufactured to the architect’s specification, allowing precise control over dimensions, materials and finishes while ensuring the completed installation remained true to the original design vision.

Designed for High-Traffic Hospitality
Every element of the furniture package was designed for daily commercial use. Steel frames, durable powder-coated finishes and solid oak construction were selected to withstand the demands of a busy hospitality environment while maintaining their appearance for years to come.

Handcrafted in West Wales
Every piece was handcrafted in our West Wales workshop using architect-specified finishes, bespoke dimensions and sustainably sourced European oak, ensuring complete control over quality, consistency and finish from manufacture through to installation.

Designed for Daily Commercial Use
Every design decision balanced appearance with practicality, creating furniture that is comfortable, durable and easy to maintain while complementing Hawley Wharf’s contemporary industrial interior.

The Brief

Hawley Wharf is one of London’s largest mixed-use developments, bringing together restaurants, cafés, retail spaces and public areas in the heart of Camden. Paul Frampton Design was commissioned to manufacture a complete package of bespoke industrial furniture that reflected the development’s contemporary industrial aesthetic while meeting the demands of a busy commercial environment

The Solution

Every piece of furniture was manufactured to the architect’s exact specification, including bespoke dimensions, powder-coated steelwork finished to a specified RAL colour and carefully selected European oak. Manufacturing all of the furniture in-house gave complete control over quality, consistency and finish across the entire project. installation at Hawley Wharf.

The Outcome

Hawley Wharf demonstrates Paul Frampton Design’s ability to deliver large-scale bespoke furniture commissions without compromising craftsmanship. From initial manufacture through to final delivery, every piece was produced in our West Wales workshop and supplied ready for installation, creating a cohesive industrial aesthetic across one of London’s most recognisable hospitality developments.

Craftmanship & Materials

Unlike mass-produced commercial furniture, every table and bench supplied to Hawley Wharf was manufactured from European oak sourced from a single windfall tree. The timber was milled and dried in our own West Wales workshop, allowing us to control quality from the very beginning of the manufacturing process. Using timber from the same tree ensured a consistent grain, colour and character across the entire project, creating a cohesive finish throughout the venue while making responsible use of a naturally fallen tree.
