This is a made to order piece , so the one in the photo has already been sold. When you order yours you can give us a rough idea of shape and size that suits you and your space and we will source it for you.
This one is made from live edge boards which are ‘book matched’, 2 slices from the same tree and so both sides of the table match in terms of grain and distinctive knots and figuring.
These boards are pretty wide and likely to have various splits/faults and defects. With the use of pigmented epoxy   faults and splits become features. Further splitting and movement of the wood is prevented by the use of  butterfly inlays or inlay ‘stitches’. We generally put these on underside of the table

By far the best finish for a table that is used to the fullest is a Polyurethane mat spray finish
Legs in this photo are tailored to the shape of the table, buffed up and then coated with beeswax.

Powder coating available as well as electroplating in nickel, copper or chrome
